Read: Galations 1:1-12
I firmly believe it is important for us Christians to be ever aware of the differences in religions that profess to be ‘Christian’ but teach a variation of what the bible teaches as truth. We need to be well grounded in the word of God, so we will recognize it straight away, and we ourselves will not be deceived, (Mark 13:21-23).
Some faiths appear on the surface 'Christian' and can be mistaken - even by Christians - as another Christian denomination. There are many Christian denominations, which fundamentally, believe the same doctrine of faith found in the Bible. I don't have a problem with these. But it is dangerous to accept 'faiths' that appear Christian, but are not. There is only one way to the Father, and that is through the Jesus Christ of the Bible, (John 14:6).
We live in a society with so much false teaching around - even by those that proclaim to be Christian, (2 Cor.11:13-15).
Don't let these teachings sway you. No matter how Christian it
sounds, or persuasive it is, do not go along with it! It is
another gospel.

Help me Lord to always know
The truths in your word
And to recognize another gospel
Different from what I've heard.
