Come Unto Me

"...Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.] Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls. For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good-not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne..." - Matthew 11:28-30

How we need a place to go to rest and be refreshed. Our lives can be so hectic and stressful. We need to come to Jesus every day for that refreshment. It’s so comforting to know that Jesus will ease our load. He says to take His yoke upon us and learn of Him. We so often carry such heavy burdens that the Lord never intended us to carry. Under these burdens we are weighed down, but His burden is light and easy to be borne.

If you are feeling weighted down with many burdens, give it over to Jesus. Take His yoke upon you and find relief for your soul.
