Eternal Peace

A Christian Poem about the eternal peace of God
Christian Poem on the peace of God soothing our worries

There is also an option to listen to this Poem if you would like to. Just click on the link above the title of the poem. You will need to have 'Real Player' installed on your computer to hear the poem. Please also turn your sound up a bit - as it may be a little soft. Music is the song 'Wait' by David Delgado and used with permission. To listen to his music, please visit his site Wordless Worship. Hope you enjoy! You may translate the poem into your own language if you want a copy of it in its 'translated' form for yourself or for a friend you want to share it with - making sure the translation is 'accurate' though. But if you are using the 'google translator' tool I've placed on my site, you will need to check the accuracy of the translation on the google translate web page, as it may not have translated correctly - and even then you may need to copy and paste the English version line by line (as well as check the odd word for meaning and context) to get it 'more correct' as google's translate web page isn't completely accurate either. I'm sorry that it may take longer if you want this poem in your own language, but it needs to be correct because if it isn't, it will lose its meaning. Machine translators can never be as accurate as a human translator, so please do check! Also, if you want to send this page to a friend, click on 'Share This Page' below the poem - or if you want to contact me, click on the 'Mail' button below. Please Note: The mp3 is for listening on this site only – please do not download it or direct link to it. Thank you.

Eternal Peace

We do not need to live in worry,
Nor to anxiously fret,
Because we know God’s in control
And He can handle it

He knows what things worry us
And cause us to greatly fear
What we feel may threaten us,
May or may not be there

For much of what we worry about
Are things we do not know,
Things that may or may not happen,
Bringing fear of the unknown

The word of God gives us power
To have faith to overcome,
To rely upon God’s Holy Spirit
And trust in His risen Son

So next time when you find that you
Are unsure of what might be,
Look to God and know that you
Can have His eternal peace.
