Scriptures to Pray on Freedom

On this page there are many wonderful scriptures on the theme of "Freedom" worded as short "prayers". It is good to confess scripture, but it can be transforming when the scripture is a prayer of thanks to God. God has already accomplished all that we need to live for Him, we just need to believe that and "proclaim" it. This is how we align our thinking to God's Word.

All scripture references are taken from the NKJV unless otherwise stated.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed. Luke 4: 18(NKJV)
