God's deliverance from Satan's deception
Don't let the enemy get a hold
And squash your hopes and dreams
Stand firm in God against his attacks,
For he devours everything
Just like a thief, he comes to steal,
To kill and to destroy
The work God has begun in you,
His hope, peace and joy
Don't let him get the upper hand
And try to gain control
Keep standing on God's holy word
To break Satan's hold
He comes along in many guises,
Even posing as the Christ,
Trying to deceive you with untruths,
For he is the father of lies
Don't listen to a word he says
As he whispers in your ear,
Even if it sounds like truth,
Let scripture make it clear
Receive God's wisdom everyday
So you may know His truth,
For this is what will set you free
From Satan's grip on you
So remind yourself that there is hope
And deliverance from his lies,
For God in you will overcome
And your victory is in Christ.
