Positive Confessions

Standing firm on God's Word and Declaring who you are in Christ

[Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). - 2 Corinthians 10:5 (Amp)

I have created this page to share some positive confessions from God's word. The church that I attended many years ago, gave these out as 'handouts'. We can take every thought captive into the obedience of Christ by speaking the word of God. I don't know where this originally came from, but thought it would be good to share it here for those that may struggle with battles in the mind. Confessing the word of God is one way we can overcome. Hope you find these a blessing to you!

Confessing scripture in prayer is transforming. You can word these confessions as "prayers" as well as praying the scriptures using some of the examples I have here: 'Praying The Scriptures'
