In the
beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with
God,
and the Word was God.

God's Word is our anchor
To keep us on firm ground,
We shall never be persuaded,
Nor ever be pulled down
No matter what the others
May say or do to us,
God's Word will always stand
When we have had enough
For even if at times we should
Give up for any reason,
God's Word remains faithful
Through life's different seasons
For God's Word doesn't depend
On how we all are feeling,
But shall always remain the same,
Its fruit forever yielding
God's Word remains forever;
No one can put it out,
When we receive it in our hearts
It washes away all doubt
God's Word is the truth
The world is desperate of,
To know life's deepest meaning,
To know the one true God
For only by God's Word
Can we know the truth of life,
As God reveals the mystery
Of His Son Jesus Christ
