There is also an option to listen to this Easter Poem if you would like to. Just click on the link above the title of the poem. You will need to have 'Real Player' installed on your computer to hear the poem. Please also turn your sound up a bit - as it may be a little soft. Music is the song 'You Are' by David Delgado and used with permission. To listen to his music, please visit his site Wordless Worship. You may translate the poem into your own language if you want a copy of it in its 'translated' form for yourself or for a friend you want to share it with - making sure the translation is 'accurate' though. But if you are using the 'google translator' tool I've placed on my site, you will need to check the accuracy of the translation on the google translate web page, as it may not have translated correctly - and even then you may need to copy and paste the English version line by line (as well as check the odd word for meaning and context) to get it 'more correct' as google's translate web page isn't completely accurate either. I'm sorry that it may take longer if you want this poem in your own language, but it needs to be correct because if it isn't, it will lose its meaning. Machine translators can never be as accurate as a human translator, so please do check! Also, if you want to send this page to a friend, click on the 'Share This Page With A Friend' button below - or if you want to contact me, click on the 'Email' button below. Hope you enjoy! Please Note: The mp3 is for listening on this site only - please do not download it or direct link to it. Thank you.

GOD'S SACRIFICE

Our Heavenly Father,
Look down from above
On the world you've created
Out of words of love

Lord, when you spoke
Precious life into being,
You created so perfect
Each and everything

But when we sinned,
Perfection was lost
And separation from you
Was the price it cost

I know many times
Throughout the future years,
You tried so hard in vain
To draw us all near

It took your dear Son
To pay the ultimate price
When He laid it all down
The most holy sacrifice

The price Jesus paid
Has brought back to you
The fellowship we had
When we were born anew
