Bible Verses to pray on Peace

On this page there are many wonderful scriptures on the theme of "Peace" worded as short "prayers". It is good to confess scripture, but it can be transforming when the scripture is a prayer of thanks to God. God has already accomplished all that we need to live for Him, we just need to believe that and "proclaim" it. This is how we align our thinking to God's Word.

All scripture references are taken from the NKJV unless otherwise stated.

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27 (NKJV)

Thank you, Lord, that I need not be anxious or worried about anything. Because in everything, in every circumstance and situation, I can come to you by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, and continually give over to you my anxiety, fears and concerns. And you have promised me that as I do this, I will know your peace. Your peace which reassures my heart. Your peace which transcends all understanding. Your peace which stands guard over my heart and my mind through Christ Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. – Philippians 4:6-7 (AMP)

Thank you, Lord, for being my peace. – Ephesians 2:14

Thank you, Lord, for the peace you have given me—your perfect peace. It is not like the peace of the world, which depends on outward circumstances, but the peace you give sustains me through every situation and crisis. Help me not to be troubled or afraid in the face of life's struggles and anxious moments. Let your perfect peace calm me in every circumstance and give me courage and strength for every challenge. In Jesus' name, I pray. – John 14:27 (AMP)
