The Lord is ever so patient
Each time we fail Him
He understands we are but flesh
And prone to be tempted by sin
He knows that our hearts desire
Is to become like Jesus Christ
And though at times we miss the mark
He still pours His love inside
For He will never give up on us
When we have fallen short,
But remains so very patient
And our ever-faithful Lord.
