Lord,
Let me be grounded in your Word
Let your Word be the foundation
Of my life
And let me be built up on your Word.
May your Word be written on
My heart, my mind, my soul
And embedded in my spirit
And be so much part of me
That I become what I read in your Word.
Let your Word change me,
Mould me and reshape my thinking.
May the Holy Spirit open my eyes
To the wonderful truths in your Word—
And lead me into truth.
Your Word is truth
Your Word lights my way
Your Word brings hope,
Comfort, healing and liberty.
