Lord, I thank you
And praise your name
For all that you are to me—
For being such a kind
And loving God
And hearing my heart felt plea

I thank you, Lord
That you always listen
Every time I kneel to pray—
You always answer,
Each time that I do,
Though not always straight away

But in your own time
When I need it the most,
The answer comes like a flood—
You guide me along
One step at a time
And fill my heart with your love

I give to you
My life, my heart
And everything that I am—
Mould me into
What I should be,
So I shall fulfil your plan

Help me, I ask,
Every step of the way,
To fulfil my destiny—
To become more devoted
And surrendered to you
And walk in you liberty.
