We often get so caught up
In the fast pace of our day,
That we forget our Master
And not even think to pray

We run around so busy
To get our work all done
We have so much to do in life,
Seldom time for anyone

Do we really need to be
As busy as we are?
And can we take a little time
To feed our hungry hearts?

Spending precious time with God
Brings refreshment to our souls
Restoring newness to our lives
That once was growing cold

It's so important for us all
To spend some precious time,
In God's Word, communing with Him,
To soak our busy minds

If we would only stop a while
To be still in His embrace,
We then would know His tranquil peace
As we take a slower pace

Then He will lead us where He 'Wills'
As we take Him by the hand
And we'll receive from Him new hope
When we walk in what He's planned

For God so longs to be involved
In the details of our lives
To walk with us in our every day
And to see us grow in Christ.
