But God, being [so very] rich in mercy, because
of His great
and wonderful love with which He loved us, even when we
were
[spiritually] dead and separated from Him because of
our sins, He made us
[spiritually] alive together with Christ
(for by His grace—His undeserved favor and
mercy—you
have been saved from God's judgment).
I have always loved you, child
Each day, your whole life through,
Even though you didn't know me,
Or was aware I cared for you
I hoped that you would turn to me
When I gently called your name,
For I have longed to show you my love
And reach out to heal your pain
Though there were times you sensed me near
You didn't know it was me,
Nor did you know I was reaching out,
Though I hoped that you would see
And respond to my love for you
And receive me as your Lord,
For I have always loved you, child
And no one could love you more.

like to pray: Thank you, Jesus, that
you have always known me and loved me—even when I didn't know you or loved you. Thank you that you kept on reaching
out to me and continuing to love me—even though I had never responded or reached out to you. I want to respond to
your love today. I believe you came into the world, died for my sins and rose to life again. I ask that you would
forgive me and cleanse me of all my sins—and I receive you now into my heart as Lord and Saviour. Please fill me with
your Holy Spirit and help me live each day for you. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen
