The water of your word
Washes over my soul,
Cleansing with the truth there in,
Refining—as with gold
There is no better way
That I can be refreshed,
But with your precious Word of Life,
Relieving all my stress
Refresh my soul, O God,
I humbly ask of Thee
Wash away all trace of doubt,
Let your love cover me
May your word come alive
And chase away all fear,
So I may go through each new day
With an easy load to bear
I bring my life to you
As a living sacrifice
So, let the water of your Word
