To Become More Disciplined
Lord, we know we need to have
More discipline in our lives,
To spend more time in fellowship
With you, Lord Jesus Christ
We need to daily come to you
To set aside some time,
To come into your presence, Lord,
For this transforms our minds
Then we will become more like you
And have a closer walk,
Becoming all we're meant to be
And be living as we ought
But if we lack this discipline
Our spirits desperately need,
Our lives remain in shallow soil
With roots that can't go deep
So, Lord, we need your help each day
To build into our lives
The discipline we need to have
As a living sacrifice.
